Supporting strong schools, affordable communities, and responsive government.

Ready to serve.

My name is Christos Jensen. I am running for the open Minnesota House seat in our district 52A, and I am seeking the DFL endorsement.

I live in Eagan with my wife, Melissa, and our two wonderful kids. I am running for this position to support our children, our community, and our future. I care deeply about education, child welfare, thriving families, strong, local jobs, and a healthy, responsive local government. I try to live by a simple principle - to be the change I hope to see.

We all face many challenges in the times ahead. We have an affordability crisis now. The cost of daycare, health care, groceries, and housing continues to rise. Our families struggle to make ends meet. We also have an integrity crisis now. Too few people trust in our government to be fair, effective, and responsive to our needs.

I believe in good government. I believe that integrity matters. I believe we can solve our problems through open minds and open hearts, hard work, faith, and a commitment to our shared values.

Every day, I work to support children and families as an attorney in the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. In this role, I help manage a team of public servants dedicated to serving the vulnerable in our community and around the state. We actively work to reform our systems and make government more responsive, inclusive, and reflective of the community we serve.

My commitment to the public and to this community goes beyond my day job. Locally, I serve as a volunteer and chair of the Eagan Advisory Planning Commission, as a volunteer on the Met Council Land Use Advisory Commission, as a soccer and baseball coach for both of my kids, and as an active scouting parent in my son’s Cub Scouts pack. I am a strong labor supporter, having served 7 years as our AFSCME Local 8 union steward. My wife also serves on the Eagan YMCA Community Council, and she leads our local DFL volunteer work at the Dakota Woodlands shelter. We love this community, and we are dedicated to helping it continue to grow and thrive.

I look forward to meeting with you and hearing your concerns and your ideas. Together, we can channel a new wave of energy into making this the community and the state that we hope to see!

Be the change that we hope to see.
